73. "Half of a Yellow Sun" - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

I'm only 20 pages from the end of this book, but I don't want to read it. I don't want to leave this beautiful, strange, lush spiral of a world. Adichie has an enviable talent of turning rose petals into words. Just read it. Period.

I'm happy you enjoyed 'Half of a Yellow Sun'! I was a bit nervous about you response. :) I also ended up wanting more of Odenigbo & co.

I finished it with tears running down my cheeks. It was just like my experience with "Atonement," where I clutched the book to my chest afterward. Excellent recommendation, Stefania!

So I'm not the only who cries for these things... I wish that 'Half of a Yellow Sun' were promoted better in Italy. It's one of the best books I've read this year.
